only when im sitting idle for over 1 min my compressor clutch stops turning and it makes a really loud screeching and smoke starts to come from it so i imediatly turn off the ac and when i start moving again i turn it on and most of the time its fine but sometimes it just sqeaks for a split sec and then works i can drive on the hyway for hours and it works just fine but i still ocasionaly hear a squeak while driving but it only completely stops when im sitting idle for over 1 min

could this just be a weak clutch or is it somthing else

 

Sounds like the clutch is going out. it probably build pressure in the compressor and cant stand the strain better fix it before it self destructs.
