Has anybody changed out a power window motor on a 95 XLT. The window goes down fine but does not want to come back up without being lifted. I took the door panel off and located the motor, but looks like its hard to get to with being between both metal door frames. Any help would be appreciated. This is my first Ford truck, and it is great otherwise, only 89k, regular cab short bed. Thanks guys. Chad.

I had to swap out my driver side window motor on my 95xlt once. It looks a lot worse than it really is. As a matter of fact, it was pretty simple. It took me about 30 minutes.

Pull the door panel again, you should see 3 rivots holding the motor to the door. Drill those out, pull the motor, put the new one in with the supplied bolts in the holes you just drilled, and that's about it.
