A/C blowing hot and cold air - F150 SC

Yesterday my F150 supercrew, just out of the blue, started blowing hot air. First thought was that it was low on freon. Well, later it started blowing cold air. Off and on, seemed like when the transmission shifted, it would blow a breath of hot air, then go back to blowing cold air. The cold air was cold, but the hot air was REALLY hot. Any suggestions?

Sounds different than blend door though, when mine died, it stayed on hot no matter what. It could also be just acting up not dead yet. More description and scenarios may be necessary.

The door is broken and is flapping open and closed based on the movement of the truck...

It's your blend door. Mine would go to hot when I would hit the gas, then go to cold when I would hit the brakes. It's a cheap part to fix, but labor will be a bitch. And BLUE, if the blend door is going, there's no fixing it. Only replacing it.

I did last year, I was just saying when it did, it blew hot no matter what, it didn't switch at all. The whole deal cost like $75 for parts, but labour was a bit, only like 3 hours for that plus some other crap.

Sounds like your blend door motor went out BLUE. A blend door costs maybe $30, but it's 6 - 8 hrs of labor. The blend door motor can be replaced without taking out the whole dash.
