Heater Core???

The other day my heat began to smell like radiator fluid. Then the next day steam was coming out of my vents. I was told that my heater core has probably sprung a leak. Is this true???
Thanks!

Yup. You have a few choices:
1. Save up about $800.00 and pay the dealer do it.
2. Save the $800.00 and do it your self. Takes all day.
3. Try some stop leak.
4. Cut the quick-disconnects of the heater core hoses on the engine side of the firewall and splice them together.
