Electric heater

The heater core went out on my 98 f150. I dont have the cash to fix it right now so I looped the lines coming out of the engine bypassing the core. Now I have no heat and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on an electric 12v heater to use till I get it replaced.

FWIW, I have one of those 12V "Instant Heat" heaters.

Pretty much like farting into the wind....

I made the mistake of buying one. I saw some that were 300w and wired directly in for heating semi cabs. I was wondering how it would work.

The heater core is not expensive and is not at all that fifficult to change.
It can be done in less than 3 hours.
7,8,10,11 mm sockets(1/4"), B&D Pivot driver, Scoshe sku-driver, 13 and 15mm sockets (3/8"), should be all the tools, various 3, 6" extensions help.
