Coolant leak pass. side bottom of rad.

1st question, how do you get those plastic clips off (the plastic rad cover) if they won't unscrew? I tried just popping them off and they won't pop.
I can't see exactly where the leak is until I get the plastic fan shroud off.
When I get it off what are your guys thoughts on what might be leaking. The leak looks to be coming from the passinger side bottom of the rad.

Coolant leak pass. side bottom of rad.

I had the same issues on my '97 F250 LD. The plastic retainers will pop off, not screw off. They are like a bayonet.....back the center "screw" out gently and then pop the clip out. I have broken many of these things though becuase sometimes they catch and I just force them out.
My Radiator leaked from the bottom pass. side as well. It leaks from the bond between the plastic end cap and the aluminun core. I bought my rad from radiator.com but it leaked also with six months....still within warranty. I sent it back and got another one. I went through this replacement thing seven times in 1.5 years!!!!!! The folks at Radiator.com finally got wise and severed their relationship with me. Heck, I told them about their problem with faulty rads but they did'nt seem to care until thet had roughly two grand in radiators spent on me. Oh well.....the last one leaked as well from the same spot so I just put some "alumi-seal" in and that fixed it. I've used that stuff on MANY radiators over the years with remarkable success. Easily get another 100K out of a rad. no problem. Done it many times.
Good luck!

FWIW Rad change takes about 20-30 minutes

That is the problem, they just spin and don't move. Can I pop them out without breaking them?

I use a sharp pick and jam it in the center between the outer and inner part and pop them up.
