2005 f150 king ranch EATC is acting up with only 700 miles on it. On Saturday the EATC wouldn't even turn on and the passengers seat felt warm. On Sunday the EATC turned on but didn't stay on, it would be on, off, on off, and so on, when on the off postion, the EATC lights would blink on and off. Now Monday morning EATC would turn on stay on but will not blow any air out the vents. Made an appoinment at Galpin Ford today to see what they have to say about it.

 

Took the truck to the dealer yesterday, and guess what they tried it out and it was working fine. But they went a head a run a few test and said everything is ok. :o

 

There's a TSB floating around to pull the fuse for the EATC control head and plug it back in, if it works, let it ride until it gives out again. If/when it does, replace the EATC control.
