Where exactly is the Orifice Tube on a 97 Expy ( 4.6 ) I've had a AC clutch melt down and have gotten the compressor off ( and while I know the thing worked good and it's light weight metal I just expected a little more weight ) and need to check the orifice tube for trash. I'm sure I end up replacing other componenets but I know this is also the next step.

Also, is it possible to install a new compressor not connect it electrically ( to keep it from engaging ) and be able to drive the thing. One car is killing me.
