Went and had the a/c checked out today , when the tech came to speak with me he said that he couldn't get an accurate reading on the high side because the gauge was " acting crazy " as he said . He stated the gauge just bounced back and forth and he couldn't read it .

What would cause the gauge to jump around like that ?
