I know this subject has been beat to death, but.......

Today, for the first time in the month that I have had my 2002 Screw, I ran my A/C. My truck has EATC. I set it to auto, set the temp to 60 degrees, and ran it for a couple of minutes then pushed the max A/C button. The air coming out of the dash vents didn't get very cold. My previous truck, the one I turned in when the lease was up (2002 Scab) had manual A/C. It blew cold air when the A/C was running. Today it really wasn't that hot out, maybe 78 degrees, but I wanted to run it to see if it blew cold air. It didn't seem like it did, but maybe it's just me.
Shouldn't the damn thing be blowing cold? My other truck did. This one just didn't seem to be as cold.
Any opinions?

My 11 year old Ranger blows colder air than my 02 Lariat. I complained about it just prior to buying this truck 6 months ago and they charged it up, but it has lost some cooling capacity since then.
Just something else I will have to spend money on because it wasn't built right to begin with.

Try using a thermometer and see just how cold the air is. Not always easy to judge by feel although it should at least feel somewhat cold. Newer systems normally make between 35 - 45 Deg. and they consider that normal.
