Which one could it be?

I have read over the forums and can't come to a solid conclusion as to what my problem is. Someone please
me, if ya can. A while back my heater kept going from panel to defrost (Until I read the posts I thought it may be normal, so I left it alone) Welp not only is that still happening, the AC is hot, the heat is cold. As for the heat, I can fool around with the **** till I finally hear a lil click or something opening up in the vents and then the heat comes out, eventually. As for the AC, I fool around with the lil **** till it stops blowing heat and blows cool air. Again it sounds like something is opening up in the vents and when I turn it off it sounds like a lil gurgglin going on. Sooo I need some opinions or positive solutions. Could it be the blend door? Vaccum Leak (if it is a vaccum leak, how do I find a leak)? Or could it be the heater coil? I did however pull the **** off and it is not cracked. Dont look like it anyways!
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
