Adding Rear HVAC...

I have a 2002 SCrew Lariat FX4 5.4L V8 that doesn't have rear HVAC at all, so I am looking at how I could add it.

I was thinking I might run a couple of tubes under the middle hump from the front floor area to the rear and just vent them there. Does that make sense? That way the rear passengers would have a little something sooner than later.

Is there enough room under the carpet to do this?

Thanx.

Actually, I was talking about simply extending the floor ducts in the front to the back.

I guess the other way would be more efficient, huh?

Could you provide me with a little more detail?

Thanx.

In my supercrew there is a vent under the front seat that blows air to the rear.
