Yeah,
Turn the temperature **** to the red area.
Could be a bad temp. control knb. Easy fix and about $15.00 for a new one. Check to make sure the back of the **** is not split where it goes onto the shaft or that the switch is not real loose.

Thanks for the response. Already changed the temp control ****. I think the blend door actuator/motor is shot. Just wondering if there's a way to manually open the door to get me heat until I can finish tearing the dash out to replace the motor.

im not sure but looking at the blend door act. on the 2 heater core i just did i think you can get to the actuator without removing the dash. If you have to remove the dash the the whole case would have to be loosened up or removed.

instructions

*****, I just changed out my 97 F150 heater core and have a very detailed instruction doc with pics and my tips, do's and donts
Give me a shout if you need it. It sounds like a big job but it just takes a little patience. I wasted a lot of time that you wont have too.

You don't have to pull the dash apart to change the actuator. Just remove the lower plenum and you can take the actuator out. It could also be the blend door itself. They break where the actuator goes into them, so when the motor turns, the door does not move. If it is the door, then you will have to remove the dash.
