Blower Motor Access

The AC/Heat blower on my 2002 F150 quit working yesterday. The 40A fuse (in engine compartment) is okay, so I suspect it is the motor. Is the motor accessible without pulling the dash? If I unplug the motor, what test should I do to make sure it is not the fan control switch that is bad? Is there a good manual available, in case I have problems getting the motor out? Thanks.

The first test is to set the blower to full high. If that works, then it's just your blower controller resistor that has blown.

IIRC, the blower motor is located directly below the glove box. You'll see 3 or 4 screws holding it to the HVAC case.
