Which AC for R-134 upgrade?

I need to rebuild my '92 A/C, which I think has the old R-12 refrigerant system. What are my options and which is the coldest system?

R-12 work very well but the refergerant is now very expensive. 134A is the new material and older systems can be changed over. especally if you need to rebuild your system with a new compressor anyway you will prob. be better off going ahead and converting to 134A.

I second R-134a.....unless you have a rich uncle or something R-12 refrigerant will become as rare as gold or a virgin college cheerleader...
