A/C Vacuum leak

Anybody have any suggestions on where to find a leak in the vacuum lines for the A/C?

Every time i get on the gas the air gets directed to the windshield and back to the dash vents when i let off the gas.

Heard it could be a vacuum leak. Just wondering if anyone new or had an idea where i should check first.

Sounds more like a check valve failure. I'm not positive, but it should be somewhere near the firewall on a vacuum line. Haven't had this problem on my Expy, but I had a Chrysler that the check valve would only last six to eight months or so. Never did figure out why, they were so cheap and easy to get to, I just kept changing them.

I'm not familiar with the check valve but if it fails 'completely' will the air constantly go to the defrost instead of the dash vents? My air will no longer come out the dash vents after a few weeks of cycling between dash and defrost.

Found the problem just as everyone has suggested. I didn't just have a leak in the vacuum line between the battery and the firewall - there was a hole in the line. I'm surprised that there were no other symptoms of a leak that big but I'm not going to look for more problems.
