i just under took the long and very aggravating job of replacing my core. i got the new one now how am i suppose to get the old foam off the old one onto the new. is the new one suppose to come with the foam installed?

 

No, new foam does not come on the new ones. Neither from the dealer or the parts store. I went and purchased some foam weather stripping and used it.

 

Home Depot 3/4 inch wide soft foam weatherstrip works well.
