I just noticed this problem today when I was vacuuming my truck. It was very wet under the passenger floormat, and I let it dry out while I finished cleaning the rest of the truck. Its been back up in the 80's the past few days so I've been using the a/c quite a bit. I'm going to see if this will happen again, and if it does I'll take it back to the dealer to look at. I need to get my oil changed and my roof repainted anyways.

TonyPTX, how long did it take the dealer to fix yours?

catch22,

It took them one day. I dropped it off at 7AM before work and picked it up at 5PM after work on the same day. I ran the AC a few days ago and the water seems to be dripping outside now . The inside carpet is bone dry.

Hope this helps,

Tony

For all outta warranty situations

Jack up front end.
Go through wheel well to find the drain.
Install a rubber elbow (facing down) like is on some pcv valves.

BTW,,,, make sure engine is cool so you dont burn your hands/arms..

Have fixed ALOT of these!!
Just thought I'd share my trade secret with ya!!!!

Explains why I saw an itemized list of parts used that included a tube assembly from a crankcase vent (2L1Z 6758 CA) when I brought it in for warranty work. I was like, WTF....

To say the least, the leak no longer drips inside the vehicle, however I do see the water dripping all over the starter now. Should I be concerned about this?

No.

Would be no different than water splashing up from rain, etc.
I wouldn't worry about it
