Evaporator core replacement involves the removal of the dash.
It's a chore, to say the least, especially if you have never done it.
But that is not to discourage you!!
If you do attempt this one, evacuate the system, and prior to removal of the dash, set the AC/Heater temp selector to HALF-WAY before removing the dash. The blend door is a nightmare if you leave it turned all the way hot or cold... If you need in-depth step by step instructions, I would strongly recommend acquiring a service manual, preferably a Ford. You can get a CD on Ebay for less than $15.00 and it will give you step by step instructions on exactly what steps must be done to achieve your task.
