I have a 2001 supercrew that doesnt blow enough air. The fan sounds like it should be blowing all kinds of air but i doesn't cool the pickup down at all and what it does blow is plenty cool. Is there a cab filter on pickup like there is on the big ford trucks? If there is could someone tell me where to find it? A farmer owned this pickup before me and i notice that red eye from corn comes out of the defroster vents once in a while. Thank for any help you can give me.

 

To the best of my knowledge, there isn't a cabin air filter on the F150. It sounds to me like there is a good possibility that you are experiencing what I fixed for a local mailman.
His, although a 97 Supercab F150, had the exact same thing happening to his. Blower motor and resistor checked out fine.
The problem with his is that the evaporator core was almost completely stopped up with dirt. (From his daily route).
A very expensive repair as well. About $500 labor only repair.
The dash had to be pulled and freon evacuated, etc.
She's blowing like new money now though!!

Although it may not be the case on yours,
I would suspect that it is.
I would check to verify that the air distribution is working correctly (Max AC, etc.) and then check the blower motor and resistor before jumping the gun. If you need any help, tips, etc.,
