noisey compressor

My compressor is making alot of noise when AC is on. It sounds like somebody shaking a coke can with bbs. Is this normal?

Doesn't sound normal to me.
You might want to have a professional take a look at this one and give you an idea of exactly what is wrong.

Definitely not normal. Mine is almost silent. Well, silent in comparison to the engine.
