A/C compressor replacement
My original A/C compressor lost the shaft seal at about 80,000 miles. I searched around for the best price on a replacement compressor. I found Pep Boys had a NEW unit for $219.00.
So I bought it, serviced it it with the proper oil and installed it. Hooked a vacuum pump to it for an hour and then serviced it with 134A. Of course it works like new, because it is the exact compressor that came out of the truck. Not a cheap copy. I expected it to be some form of aftermarket low quality crap. Not so, it is exactly the original manufacturer
