sirius with aftermarket headunit in 08 350 supercrew
Hey all,
I'm helping my brother upgrade his system and am unfamiliar with the factory sirius in his truck. He has on 08 F-350 superduty with factory sirius. I have 3 questions:
1) Is it possible to re-use the factory sirius tuner and antenna and directly connect to his new Kendwood dpx500BT? He still has 6-7 months on his existing subscription.
2) If he can't re-use his tuner, is there an adapter to re-use the stock antenna? I know you can just remove the plastic bit on the antenna input, but he'd rather keep it as stock as possible so he can put it all back if he needs to sell the truck later.
3) Where is the factory tuner and antenna connection?
