Hey guys i picked up a Pioneer AVH-X1500DVD yesterday and have a quick question. I went to the junk yard and picked up a couple of the black radio housing pieces to practice on. I found one that looks to have already been modded, my DD doesnt quite fit so ill work on it a bit more, but on the back of the housing is this metal bracket type piece. Is this part needed? Can i just un bolt it? Thanks

 

Nevermind got it figured out and the double din installed.
