I just picked up an 04 F150 FX4 and it has the radio/cd/tape headunit and my friend has the headunit from his 04 Expedition with navigation and sat. Does anyone know if the plugs are the same. I figured I will need a nav antenna for the navigation to work but don't want to spend too much money to make it work.

 

I don't think that would even fit in the spot for the radio. The 04 expeditions have radios like the 03 and back f150s. I could be wrong though

 

I took my radio out and compared it, it will fit however the mounting bolts are in different places and the plugs are not even close.

 

I should've said that instead of size. I didn't think it would "go in" the way it would need to. Didn't hurt to try though!
