Weird problem
I have a '11 Screw XLT. It does NOT have the sub. Sometimes, no matter what I am listening too (Sat, am/fm, cd, mp3, usb) the left speakers will cut out, and a quick increase in volume they come back on. On other days, all the speakers sound like they are blown, scratchy sound and it will do it no matter what I play with on settings. it will clear itself up when it feels like it, sometimes I'll make a couple of stops and it will be fine, sometimes it will go a couple of days and then clear up, sometimes it is working fine, I stop for gas, and it starts doing it.
I haven't taken it to the dealer (should be under warranty right? I only have 11,800 miles) yet and was wondering what it could be. Any ideas???

Ford has known issues with some their radios. There are a lot of people that have bad stock radios. mostly cd problems,, but think there some that have radio problems.
Would go with the warranty idea first. then go to the idea of an aftermarket radio.

Well it is still doing it, and I am at my rope lol! I will take it in next week. I also have a RH front window starting to make some noise, so I hope they will fix it as well.
Is/has anyone else had their factory stereo act up similar to this? Have any of you upgraded the stereo? I like the Sirrus XM, so if i go with an aftermarket unit, I'd like one with it. Pics would be great! I like the clean stock look, so the more professional the install the better I guess.
