Stock Audio Replacement Questions

Hey all, I'm new to the forums and I hope I'm posting in the right place.

I recently bought a 2012 XLT and want to replace the stock stereo.

I have a Pioneer AVH-P3100DVD

I want to install it but I'm not sure what modules I need to retain Sync and the steering wheel controls.

If somebody could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

Look at the axxess(or something like that) adapters for steering wheel control retention. It will be a small headache from what I hear, so consider getting that part professionally done unless you feel you could figure it out.

As far as sync is concerned, it sounds to me like its a feature of the stock HU, and not the truck, but I could be wrong. I don't have sync, so you'll have to ask someone else.
