Can anyone recommend a good double din head unit?
I've been searching up and down for a new head unit, I've had an Avic D3 for the past few years but it was recently involved in an unfortunate accident so I'm in the market for something new.
Requirements -
Under $500
Ipod connectivity but must be integrated into the radio like the D3
Navigation isn't required, just plays dvds, cds, and the like
I've got it narrowed down to the pioneer AVH-P3400BH or the Kenwood DDX419 but from what I see they only connect wireless with the Ipod? Or do those have the hookup in the back like the D3 to where I can control the Ipod through the actual deck? I'm confused looking at all these units.
So if anyone has experience with the head units I'd like a little advice and direction, thanks in advance.
edit - now that I look a little harder it looks like the pioneer AVH-4400bh has all the features I'm looking for?

I ended up getting the AVH 4400bh, installed for $400.
It does everything I could ask for and more, and makes the D3 looks silly in the process. I was also looking at the AVIC X940 but decided that I didn't need the navigation and wasn't looking to spend that much right now, the only difference is the navigation and the Android compatibility..which sucks since I do have an android phone.
