USB in the Rear

I have a 2005 FX4 with the audiophile stereo system and was looking to get the Pioneer AVH-P4400BH. I also have a droid incredible.

My questions are, the aux and USB are in the rear. How does this work for hooking it up to my phone to play music or putting a USB stick in? Do you run cables out of the back and put them in the glove box, ash tray, or center console?

I have seen the unit cheaper than Crutchfield but they seem to give you everything you need to install. Is there a cheaper option for this head unit but still have all the tech support and stuff to convert it to my truck.

I am looking at the same unit they are 400.00 new on ebay .and the Matrix runs about 500.00 I keep reading about the screen freezing up .So have not pulled the trigger I mounted a usb cable where the coin slot was on my 07 looks factory had a extra 12volt accessory cover cap like whats on the right side. Oh This is where a 4x4 switch would go if it was a 4x4.
