I'm going to eventually replace the head unit in my 2002 F150. But I'm wondering if upgrading the speakers first would be better upgrade than just upgrading the head unit first.

I have no idea how good the stock unit is. I was thinking about getting a cheaper Pioneer Head Unit, but at this moment I'm not sure.

 

I don't know for sure if they are the same, but the stock unit in my '98 really kicks . I would not replace mine but I'm not so sure about the speakers...
