I have kenwood kdc-mp245, boss ph1500m amp, and a older mephis s/w,, think its 12". In a box non ported on the back seat.
The HU has s/w adjustments,,, along with bass boost. The amp has a gain controll too.

Where is the best way to adjust the s/w??? Just use the gain control??
Or use the controls on the HU,,b/c the HU has it seems a gain controll to on it?? Not to mention all the extra things that are actually on the amp. ( not the LPF, HPF, APF ). There are other things down there that can be changed.
