I have an 06 F-150 FX4 with the single disc cd player. I also have the stock single disc cd/mp3 player (reads mp3 discs) from my g/fs 04 Ranger Edge. These HUs are idenitical in size but would i be able to swap the Rangers HU to my F-150s? I know i can always try it, and i will tomorrow but i would like to know ahead of time. My biggest concern is the wiring, if both have the same pin layout and size.

I will eventually swap out the factory HU for an Alpine deck, this is just to gain me the ability to play CDs with MP3s, since i have so many and using regular CDs sucks and im not going to buy an interface for the "aux" to use my ipod for a temporary use.
