Hi all!

So, I have the audiophile system in my 2005 Lariat. I am very happy with the sound, and even get compliments from friends...so here is my dilema...

I installed an Isimple Ipod adaptor about 5 years ago for my ipod and satelite radio... It was around $ 100.00 at the time. All was good until last month when it fried...so no Ipod now. I am using a wired fm modulator for my sat radio now, so that is ok. The replacement cost at the local Best Buy is like $ 190. So, would I be better suited to buy a new head unit (been looking at the lower to mid priced alpines or kenwoods) single din, or double dins, or just get teh new isimple unit?

How well do the lower end units integrate with the factory subwoofer?
