Pioneer P2300 Thoughts?

Want to get a nice head unit so I can plug my iPhone into and spruce up the interior a bit.

Any thoughts or opinions on this unit? I have no experience in regards to this stuff and am not really interested in a full "system". Stock sounds fine to me, but doesn't look as cool or have an AUX plug.

It looks like a nice unit... dude, I'd consider a full system. I have been piecing one together. Nothing crazy just a channel amp, speakers, new HU, and I gotta get the box and sub. Nothing like some nice high quality tunes.

Stock is high quality enough for me, minus the head unit.

The only thing I dont like about the P2300 and the P3300 is that the Ipod/Iphone USB cable plugs into the front of the unit...that was a deal breaker for me so I went with the P4300 for an extra $50...

I want the plug to be up front so I can plug my iPhone up to it and disconnect it quickly.

Any other thoughts on this unit guys?

EDIT: Can anyone tell if this unit gives the title and artist of songs from the radio?

And is there a reason I should get it from Crutchfield, or save like $70 with these guys?

Crutchfield gives you everything you need, install manual and life time tech. I'm buying my System processor from them for that reason. Even for my speaker adapters, they sent me all sorts of diagrams. Huge help to say the least for the door panel take off (front and rear). I bought my speakers, amp and Shaker 500 off ebay, but everything else will be coming from Crutchfield.

Sonix people have had good luck with...They seem to be good at allowing returns as well despite what their site said. I think MBlouir had good luck with them

I have the same unit for my 1993 F150 Flareside. I had a custom console made for it and it sounds great. My IPOD titles come up very nicely. I added an XM and a backup camera for it as well. I have an ARC amp with JL SUBS and Alpine type R components. It has really woken up my truck. The FORD system really STUNK! I think you have made a good choice for the money.

So does this unit have to have the bluetooth adapter? Its not built in? Just wondering if I read it right. I am considering this also. Thanks
