is there a way of having the steering wheel control seek button switch from station to station instead of swtching the frequency ???

 

If it's a factory radio being controlled then no,If it's controlling an after market radio then the interface mod can be reprogrammed to do that.

 

How is this done?

 

these are the program numbers if using pac swi-ps

1. Volume Up
2. Volume Down
3. Mute
4. Track Up/Seek Up
5. Track Down/Seek Down
6. Source
7. Preset Up/Disc Up
8. Preset Down/Disc Down
9. Band

use your seek up button and program it to #7 that will allow your seek button to scan your presets instead of frequency by frequency.
