Stock Radio

I know this is a dumb question but, How do you make your Stock Stereo louder without replacing the head unit. Is it as simple as swapping out speakers?

Thanks,

Tony

Kinda old thread -- surprised not to see any replies to it. Perhaps if you could tell us what issue you're having, and what you'd like to achieve, we could give you some suggestions...

Yes, a little. You would need to install 92, 93 or 94 db speakers with around a 2-55 watt RMS rating. The higher the db (decibal) rating, the louder the speaker. I would recommend a 6x8" two-way speaker.

I would spend some time on the www.crutchfield.com website. It is a very informative site.
