2002 f150

i have a 2002 f150. I thalt about puting a trans cooler on. after looking i see that it already has on from factory. is the factory cooler as good as a aftermarket cooler. if so i thalt about just puting a trans temp gauge on. also i want to put in electric fans. is there much i have to madify to do this.

hi,
im looking for info on doing the same to my 2000 v8 4.6l truck. I dont know where/which hose to connect to.

2002 f150

i have a 2002 f150 with a tape player. can i put in a stock ford radio with a cd player without any problems or not.

There should be a CD player behind the back seat. You have to fold down the back seat and its on the drivers side and holds 6 cds. If your truck doesnt have that option then putting in a stock ford radio with a cd player should work.

it is just a plane truck and does not have the changer behind the seat. i just dont want to buy one and it not work. i also like the stock looking radio.

For that body style if you got the stock radio you would also have to get the cd player that went behind the seat and i don't know if there is a harness their for wiring it or if you would have to wire it yourself. It might just be easiest to get an aftermarket headunit for about 100-150 dollars. You can get one that looks close to stock if you get like a JVC double din or something close to it. Check crutchfield for lower quality double dins since you wont be putting any system in and then look around for better prices. Normally I find the lowest prices at amazon.com.
