PAC or Axxess Steering Wheel Controls??

Ok so I just installed my Pioneer AVH4300DVD and want to get the interface for the steering wheel controls. Which one works best with my setup? PAC SWI-PS or Axxess ASWC? I heard the SWI-PS acts funny and stops working sometimes and there is sometimes a delay with the volume and seek. I havent heard anything on the ASWC excepts it automatically programs itself which is a plus I guess.

Anyone have experience with either one of these? Thanks

Yes, The Metra Axxess is the better of the two. I have used it no problem.

What type of issues did you have? I think I'll be leaning towards the Axxess ASWC since I hear a lot of bad things about the PAC interface.

ok now i have to retract my last statement. after using there email support, they helped me fix it. turns out the way the sony head units are casted, doesn't allow the 3.5mm plug to go in all the way, after shaving it with a razor blade it works perfect.

Have the Axxess and it was a breeze to install and yes it programmed itself. All buttons work with no lag at all. Also you can program the other buttons for other uses!

so i finally got around to installing the PAC unit into my truck and it doesnt work. I hooked the power to the constant 12V source from the radio harness, grounded it to the radio harness, and hooked up the white wire to #18 or #19 (cant remember off the top of my head) and grounded the other like it said on their website for my truck. I programmed it, it worked for like a minute and then it went haywire. the volume down worked fine, the volume up made the volume go down, seek up made the unit seek down, source worked fine. dont know what to do now....

I also put in an axxwss and it works great. The only thing I would change is the seek. Button. I wish it would go from preset to preset instead of through all the frequencies.
