Hi,

I will be updating my sound system in my truck this summer and already decided on the components but now I'm clueless on which HU to get. Just so you know components will be JL Audio ZR570-CSi for the front and the JL audio C5-570x for the rear. The truck will most probably have some sound deadner put on too but there will not be any sub-woofer. Well not in the near future at least.

The HU needs to have USB as I have over 50gig of music on a small removable memory disc that will go into the truck. I do not need GPS, but would really like the Bluetooth option so I can use my Blackberry for phone calls with it. So basically I just need it for music. No bells and whistles! Good quality but not overpriced.

Pioneer Units are awesome with sound tuning and equalizer settings! They also have everything your looking for.

So far I've had real good luck with my JVC KW-AVX830. It's loaded with features and it has a detachable face. Search for them on ebay. The best prices are there.

 

I really like my 3200bt. Not the biggest screen, but it's affordable, and has a ton of options. It doesn't have the biggest screen, but I'm fine with that, I like having the bigger buttons for my fat fingers, anyways!
