mic for 3200 bt

i have a pioneer 3200 bt when i use the blue tooth people always tell me they cannot hear me well or it sounds like my window is down. Is there a better quality microphone that i could use?

I am not sure, but my mic for my 3200bt is clear as day. People think I am holding the phone to my ear...Maybe check your connection or the mic may be defective.

Mine is very clear also. Maybe you can try a different mounting location. I've got mine on the top of the steering column up against the instrument panel.

If that doesn't work.....I would also think that you can find a different mic where they sell phone accessories. Maybe RadioShack?

Good Luck

i have my mic right near the handle that helps you get in the truck on the drivers side. i thought that would be a good spot since it would be close to my face.

Could be getting noise from the door jam?? Idk, just guessing. I have mine to the right of the steering wheel, on that little flat part in front of the instrument panel.

I think it is picking up noise from the wind hitting the windshield. I put mine on the side of the instument cluster hood.

I just recently installed a Sony XNV 770-BT and ran my Bluetooth mic wire up the driver's side pillar and tucked the wire under the roof material. I was able to clip it right above the rearview mirror. It seems to be working great, and also ends up looking pretty clean too.

You can try that location or like someone else suggested right next to the instrument cluster, just put it away from the window.
