Hey guys, I just installed a JVC deck in my truck and it works great except for when I plug in my iPod. In Radio mode and CD mode all speakers work great, but when my iPod is plugged in on Aux mode, only my left hand side speakers work. Any ideas?

 

Are you using a cable to plug into the headphones jack of the iPod or are you using a cable plugged into the charging/sync port on the iPod?

 

i am using a headphones jack cable into the AUX input

 

From the sounds of it, you are using an AUX cable that is NOT stereo. You can tell the difference by looking at the plug.... 1 ring is a mono plug, 2 rings are stereo.

yep, that was the problem. shows how little i know about audio! hahaha thanks boys!

btw this whole bluetooth thing and remote access iPod is sick! the deck even makes the stock speakers sound better too.
