Help Needed!! Radio display not working

I have a 2005 F150 XLT Supercab with a standard AM/FM single CD head unit. The system is completely stock except for a PIE auxiliary input converter (FRD04-AUX) and its associated 3.5mm jack which I installed about a year ago. While the radio/cd/aux input still functions properly, the display is blank. If I turn the parking/headlights on, my radio display appears as it normally has. This just occurred today and is already driving me nuts. I'm hoping someone has an easy fix for this (without replacing the head unit). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Larry

Never mind my request for help. The display began working normally the day after my original post. Not sure what happened but it is working properly now.
