Wiring a new unit

I am installing a DVD/Navigation/Bluetooth aftermarket unit in my 2004 150 that needs to be hard wired into the fuse box (For some strange reason. This is the first time I've heard of direct wiring like that). What fuse in the fuse box do you guys think I should connect the wire to, to have the unit power on when the ignition is turned on? (I don't want to connect it to something that will have it contantly on. That will just kill my batt).

Just out of curiosity, what head unit are you installing?

I have not seen a unit that needs to be wired directly into the fuse box. ALL of the units can be wired directly to the factory harness. ALL the adapters for the vehicles have a universal wiring harness coming out of the plug to be wired to the new HU.
It will need a NON SWITCHED lead for the memory.... that is available in the trucks harness. It will also need a SWITCHED power..... also available in the harness.
Unless this is a no name stereo from some fly by night company in China they ALL wire almost the exact same way.

The metra 70-5520. There is no need for running to the fuse box.
