Okay so I had managed to get dash lights on with the old head unit, I just spliced in a switch on whatever wires I don't even remember what ones.
Now I have a different head unit and the switch worked while I was mocking up with wires, then when I went to finalize everything the switch got hot and the fuse got destroyed, not just blow out..like destroyed.
What am I missing?!

Or where can I wire the switch back in to?
