Detachable face won't make contact
Fellas,
Hopefully there's something I can do. I have a HU with a detachable face, its an older Audiobahn and it's in my DD, not the f150.
Anyway, the face plate has trouble making contact with the HU itself. If I press on it, contact is made and it works fine. But when it sits in the housing of the HU, it won't make contact on it's own. I've cleaned and it isn't dirty at all. Is there something I can do to rectify this? I thought about sticking a small peice of foil in between the contacts, but I'm sure it would mess it up or short something out.
Thinkin about a new HU but it's my DD, and I wanted to see if I could fix it first. Any ideas?
