Removal of stock radio?

Removal of stock radio?

is there any other way to remove stock head unit without the pull bars?

cut coat hanger and stick a piece in every slot. push them away from the radio and pull it out.

Agreed....coat hanger or just heavy duty copper wire

i made the nagers look exactly like the removal tools. stuck them em and tried to pull out and either the hanger would slide back out (then i pushed farther in) and then it would just sit there no matter how hard i pulled it would not come out...

Sounds like you may have pushed it in too far and may have bent the tabs.

this is the way I did it. I had no problem taking my radio out.

yeah its pretty simple...if you cant get it just spend the $6.97 at advance auto and do it
