ipod / JL Cleansweep accessory power

I'm right in the middle of my stealth audio build on my 2005 F150 Scab. I have wired and mounted my cleansweep and have given it a 12v source straight from the fuse panel. I have yet to find a good spot to wire my accessory power. I read in the cleansweep manual that the aux source power should be the same as the cleansweep power to reduce the chance of noise. I considered running a relay, but decided that it's only an ipod, a unit that takes minimal power and has its own battery... So I'm thinking that i'll have the ipod wired to the same source that I will use for "switched 12v" for the cleansweep "turn on" function...

Q1: Does this seem acceptable?

Q2: I can't find a spare accessory power in the fuse panel. I bought an "add-a-fuse" and it doesn't seem to fit in the spare fuse slots (it just falls out, it isn't snug). I would really like to run this "switched" power from the fuse panel, but I'm about to splice into whatever accessory power behind the dash I can find. Any thoughts?

so the "add-a-fuse" or add-a-circuit does actually fit. Didn't realize the "spare" fuse spots on the panel weren't hooked up. At this point I'm looking at creating an extra circuit off the delayed accessory fuse, the one that illuminates all the buttons and dash.

Please if someone has an opinion on this, I would appreciate your comment. Thanks!

Scrap the add a fuse...pull your stock headunit and splice into the 12v switched at the headunit.
