I've never installed one of these, but I understand it has to be programmed, correct?

Is it possible for me to program the left side of the steering wheel control that is normally for music source (the right side is forward seek) to be reverse seek?

I find myself using reverse seek more often than changing sources with my factory unit, and with all the tracks I'll have on USB with my new P3100 I would like to be able to reverse seek on the steering wheel.

 

it was on mine, on mine it had a chart in the instructions of when programing the light would flash once for like volume up and you hit that button then again for down and hit that button, so on and so forth through all of the functions, and if u didnt have a button such as in mine where all i have is seek and volume you would wait a sec and the unit would skip to the next command, however if it were to flas the light for volume up (or seek) and you hit down it would program down as up.
