06 Ipod hookup

Just trying to figure out which ipod hookup i need to connect with my 2006 f150 radio. I plan on keeping my stock HU, but really just need to find the right kit to hook up my ipod touch to the stereo.

What i really want is one that will let me use my ipod controls. Just because i can't imagine trying to scroll through 128 artists one line at a time.. Would get an aux input, but am wanting for it to charge it as well..

Was hoping to find one for around $150 or less.. at least that is what prices i have been seeing on them. So any recommendations??

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/iSimple+...ple&cp=1&lp=10

this will give you an aux input that you can control through the stereo...best sound quality.

this is a FM Modulator that can be hooked up to charge...decent sound quality. just make sure you get a good ground or youll get bad interference.

Check out the Brandmotion adapter - I had one in my 06 Lariat hooked to my OEM HU. Changed when I moved to Kenwood HU, but the Brandmotion adapter worked well - easy to install and works with or without OEM Sat radio.

Heard this one was doing the job for some people

If anyone is interested, I found an ipod interface that works perfect. I bought it from here:

Sorry about last post

It looks like they only make adapters for 04, 05, 08. No 06. Thats what you have right? An 06?I did find this at crutchfield though. Go to crutchfield and look under car audio/Ipod & Auxillary adapters,, The one you might need for your truck is made by Percision interface eletronics. Here's the item number

Precision Interface Electronics FRD04-AUX Adapter
Add an auxiliary input to your 2004-up Ford factory stereo

Item #469FRD4AUX IN STOCK

Here's the description:

This adapter lets you listen to a portable MP3 player or just about any other external source through select Ford sound systems, by converting the CD changer input on the factory radio into an auxiliary input. The 14-1/2" cable has the factory-compatible 16- & 24-pin connectors at one end and female RCA plugs at the other. Warranty: 90 days.

Hope this helps man! Let me know.

Bryan

Hey man, do you have a sattelite radio in your 2006? If not, this might be what you're looking for from crutchfield

Not one with ipod controls thru the radio or the steering wheel.
