i'm new here, i usually deal with nico forums, sorry if this is misplaced or already covered. i searched. i have an '01 f150 supercrew, it had a single disc deck. i changed it out with my friends mustang gt 6 disc. i think it had the mach system with the stock amp. now i have almost no bass, all treble! anyone know why or know if there is an f150 6 disc that doesnt require or come with a stock amp

any suggestions on searching or helpful hints would be great. thanks guys

 

If he had the mach system, the crossovers are set different because he had an OEM subwoofer, which you dont have, which is why your getting less bass response out of your speaks.

 

so the only way to fix it is a new deck? does the f150 6 disc have a stock amp?
